Courtney Murphy is a licensed clinical social worker and board certified comprehensive psychotherapist and psychoanalyst. As a practicing clinician for 10 years, she has worked with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, obsessive-compulsive thoughts and behaviors, relational problems, eating and substance use disorders, work and financial difficulties and parenting and elder-care issues.

Courtney received her clinical experience at various organizations. These include The National Institute for the Psychotherapies, The Second Wind, The Parallax Center, and The Upper Manhattan Mental Health Center. She interned at Pelham Guidance Council and White Plains Hospital.

Courtney obtained a B.A. in psychology from Barnard College and a M.S.W. from Columbia University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and was board-certified as a comprehensive psychotherapist and psychoanalyst at The National Institute for the Psychotherapies after completing their four-year postgraduate program.
